A Fort Wayne native, he’s has been active in the local art scene since his return from Chicago in 2004. Since that time he has participated in numerous Fort Wayne Gallery exhibitions, including: Henry’s, Dash In, Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Artlink and sanctioned/unsanctioned public street art.
Josef Zimmerman has been working in and around the art world for the last decade. As an artist, installer, and curator, Josef has worked to bring new artists together and showcase them in museums and galleries. Josef is currently the Head Adjunct Curator of New Contemporary Art at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art as well as an independent curator for galleries around the nation.
